Y12 UCAS Exhibition for University and Apprenticeships

Dear Parent / Carer,

Y12 UCAS Exhibition for University and Apprenticeships

We have arranged an opportunity for Year 12 students to attend the UCAS Exhibition on Wednesday June 7th at the University of East London in Docklands.

The aim of this event is to give students an insight into the various Post 18 options available to them including University Courses, Apprenticeships and Degree Apprenticeships.

There will be a number of universities and employers in attendance; various talks and presentations throughout the day; and the opportunity to speak directly to providers about these options.

  • Students should arrive at school at 9am.
  • Students will travel by train (no charge).
  • Students will need to bring money for food or a packed lunch and drink for the day. Food outlets are often very busy, so packed lunch may be easier!
  • Students will be supervised by staff when travelling to and from the venue but will be free to explore the exhibition unsupervised.
  • We would also like students to dress smartly for this opportunity.
  • We will return to school by approximately 3pm – 3:30pm
  • There will be no other lessons for Year 12 on this day.

STUDENTS STUDYING FOR GCSE MATHS RESIT should attend school as normal for a 9am start to this exam.

If you have any questions regarding this activity, please contact Mr Coles at Logic on r.coles@logicstudioschool.org or on 02088313001.

Yours sincerely

John Cadogan
