A busy week ahead
Next week we hold our 1st PBL Week of the year. As you may be aware, at Logic our students participate in Project Based Learning (PBL) weeks at the end of each half term. The aim of these weeks is twofold: firstly to give our students the opportunity to use and develop the academic knowledge and skills they learn in the classroom in a practical environment; and secondly to undertake new activities and projects that challenge and inspire them to improve their employment skills, aspirations and career planning.
There will be changes to student times of the day and the activities that we will be doing next week. This information has been communicated with students via letter and email. For more information and to see these letters, please visit our the main page of our website.
During PBL week as part of our Post 16 Transition support for current students, we will be hosting a Transition Day for Year 11 on Thursday. This will focus on their options on completion of Year 11 and what to do next.
Following this, parents and carers of Year 11 are invited to attend our Parent Information Evening on Thursday 20th February at 5.30pm, where we will provide you with all of the relevant information needed to support your child with this important next step.
We will post about our activities next week on our socials, so please do give us a follow. After half term we look forward to welcoming all parents to our ‘Meet the form tutor’ event on Thursday 10th November.
Oh, did we mention that we are on Insta (again….) and we are more than a little excited about it! Follow us @logic_school_
