Relentless Focus

Over the last two weeks we have been busy reviewing the quality of our provision in English, History, Geography and Sociology. This has involved lesson observations, work scrutiny, student panels and staff interviews. I wanted to share some of our findings with you.
The level of consistency across all lessons was exceptional.
The use of questioning to develop subject knowledge was a key strength of the History Department.
The student panel were overwhelmingly positive about the use of Prep to support their learning.
I want to recognise the hard work and dedication of our staff in providing our students with the best possible education. Importantly, they are always looking at how they can improve on already excellent practice. With the government committing to have Ofsted visit every school in the country by 2025, we stand ready.
