Personal Development Week 3 – February 2024

The last week of half term was a busy one for Logic students with a variety of trips, activities and workshops taking places for years 10-13 as part of our Personal Development Week.

The main focus of the week was a Healthy Living and Staying Safe Day for all students. This involved a series of presentations and workshops from external organisations including Drug Awareness from HYPE; Online safety from the Met Police; Sexual Health from Hounslow RSE; an Anti Racism workshop from MOPAC; and a talk about local safety after some of the recent and unfortunate incidents involving gangs from Garvin Snell from Re N-Gage. The afternoon saw students participate in a series of practical enrichment activities including sports, online gaming, board games and films.

Each year group also participated in:

  • Students also spent time focussing on key coursework for Business and Creative Media in preparation for their assessments this half term.
  • And a number of students completed the first of their Duke of Edinburgh Practice walks in Box Hill.
