Mock Interviews
Year 12 recently took part in a Mock Business Interview as part of their Employment Engagement Induction programme. Over 20 guests from a variety of companies attended and ‘interviewed’ 75 students as if they were applying for a role within their company. Students were given a series of questions to prepare for and spent 10-15 minutes being questioned, before receiving feedback on how well they did and how they could improve for the future.
These activities provide a great opportunity, as they allow students to practice key skills they will need for future interviews while also allowing them to meet with employers and learn about different career options and expectations.
