Year 12 Career Speed Networking Event
Year 12 Career Speed Networking Event
On Wednesday morning, we were delighted to host local employers, university ambassadors, apprenticeship providers and alumni for our Year 12 Career Speed Networking Event.
This is a key part of our KS5 Employer Engagement (EE) programme and gives our new Year 12 students the chance to meet with people outside of Logic to discuss potential careers, job roles, their organisations and to share their own experiences.
We want our students to learn from ‘real’ people so that they can make informed choices about their future. We believe it is absolutely vital that our students have the knowledge and awareness needed to progress onto successful careers in their future.
Over the next few weeks, students will undertake an EE induction programme, that leads to them applying for and being interviewed for a career pathway which they will study at Logic. This runs alongside their academic qualifications and provides a focus on practical skills, experience and qualifications that will benefit them in their future career.
Thanks to all of those who gave up their time to support our event!
