Personal Development Week Review.

The week before half term was Logic’s 3rd Personal Development week of the year and what a week it was!
Logic PD weeks see students taken ‘off timetable’ and given the chance to take part in a variety of academic, careers and cultural activities.

This week we had activities including a careers speed networking event for Y10 and 11; UCAS and Apprenticeship talks for Year 13; a Year 12 Enrichment Carousel; a visit to St Mary’s University for Y10; a session making tiktok style revision videos for Y11; and Creative Media and Business sessions for Year 10 and 11.
On Thursday 13th, we invited a variety of local organisations to attend our Healthy Living Day, giving students in all years the chance to hear from experts on topics including drug awareness; the dangers of vaping; staying safe online; county lines; and how to keep yourself safe in the local community. This is a vital part of our safeguarding programme, with the aim to ensure students are aware of how to ‘stay safe’.
