Mental Health and Wellbeing day at Logic.
Just before the Easter break, Logic students and staff participated in our first Mental Health and Wellbeing Day.
This was a really important day for our school community and allowed us to support and inform our students about a range of important issues related to their physical and mental health.
We were fortunate enough to host guests from a variety of backgrounds in the morning, with workshops run by West Middlesex Health Trust; the Metropolitan Police CEOP team; the Blesma foundation for ex serviceman and women; emotional intelligence expert Fiona Wilson; and Nick Brewer, a music artist who talked about his battles with anxiety and mental health issues he overcame.
During the afternoon, students took part in a variety of practical activities, aimed at supporting their mental health and physical fitness. This included cooking, yoga, boxercise, golf, tag rugby, cricket and art.
A really positive and important day for staff and students and a great way to end the term!
