Logic Christmas Trips – Final instructions

 

I wanted to confirm the final details for the Christmas Trips on Monday December 18th 2023. There will be a range of different trips taking place, all with different meeting and finishing times, as well as differing instructions. 

It is the student’s responsibility to ensure they read and follow these instructions. 

• Students will meet and leave Logic at a time dependent on their trip. They should arrive for that time only and will be dismissed on completion of their trip to go home. 
• Those travelling by train / bus will be dismissed from Feltham station or the bus stop on our return. 
• All students will need to bring money / packed lunch as we will not be at Logic for lunch. Uniform is not required for offsite trips. 
• Year 10 / 11 students not participating in these activities will remain at Logic and appropriate work will be provided to them during lessons. Students should be in full uniform as normal.   
• Year 12 / 13 will have allocated rooms for coursework and revision completion throughout the day.

South Bank Christmas Market and Tate Modern – students will be allowed to go around in small groups without teacher supervision at all times. Students will need to check in with staff at designated times and places. Students will have contact numbers for all staff in case of an emergency. Travel by Train. 

Meet at Logic at 9.15am and catch the train at 9.45am. Return at approx 3pm.

 

Escape Room in Kingston. Students will travel with staff by bus to and from Kingston. Students will work in small groups to ‘break out’ of their room. Staff will be at the venue but will not be in the rooms. Students will also be given some time to visit the Christmas Market in Kingston in small groups and to purchase some refreshments. 

Meet at Logic at 9.30am.  Travel by bus. Return at approx 2.30pm. 

 

Jump Giants – students will participate in activities involving trampolines, dodgeball and jumping pits. Appropriate clothes needed – No belt buckles, clothing studs, jewellery, key chains, or sharp objects are permitted on the trampolines. No loose change in pockets. 

Due to the nature of the activity, there are risks involved, which neither Jump Giants nor Logic School take responsibility for. 

Meet at Logic at 12pm and travel by minibus at 12.15pm. Activity from 1pm-2pm. Return at approx 2.30pm. 

 

Cineworld Feltham – students will walk and be accompanied by staff to the films. They will be able to choose between Godzilla (if aged 15) or Wonka. Students will be dismissed from the cinema on completion of the film.  

Meet at Logic at 12.30pm and leave at 12.45pm. Films at 1.10pm or 1.30pm.

 

Top Golf in Addlestone – Outdoor target golf in groups of 6 on a ‘digital’ course’ Undercover so suggest students wear warm clothes. Food available to buy if they wish to do so.  

Meet at Logic at 8.30am and travel by minibus. Return at approx 11.30am. 

 

London Dungeons – Students will travel by train. Students will be allowed to go around in small groups without teacher supervision at all times. Students will need to check in with staff at designated times and places. Students will have contact numbers for all staff in case of an emergency.  

Students need a School ID. Meet at Logic at 10am and catch the train at approx 10.30am.  Return at approx 2pm. 

 

Yr 12&13 to Gravity – FREE Entry but students pay for activities. Students travel by train and will be accompanied by staff to and from the venue. Students will be allowed to go around in small groups at the venue. Students will need to pay for activities they participate in. 

Meet at Logic at 9.30am and leave at 9.45am.  Return at approx 3pm. 

 

Ten Pin Bowling, Feltham -Students will walk to the venue with staff and will be dismissed from the venue on completion to make their own way home. 

Meet at Logic at 10.30am and leave at 10.45am. Bowling at 11am. Dismissed from Tenpin after games.
