All quiet
We are now in that very strange time of year where the school feels a lot less busy as we have said farewell to Year 11 and Year 13. Despite this it is a very busy period for all who remain.
Year 10 and Year 12 are embracing their End of Year assessments. It has been a real pleasure to walk around the school and see so many students so active in their revision. I have to be careful how much time I spend in classes as on a recent visit to Year 10 physics I ended up being quizzed on my knowledge by the students! I did my best to answer before scampering off to A-Level maths where I feel much more at home.
Last week we had a photographer in to come and capture some of what goes on here on a day to day basis. The results of this are truly stunning and I am so thankful to all students that took part in this. Look out for the results of this shoot finding their way on to our socials.
The summer term is also a busy time for staff as we review what we have achieved this year and begin planning for next. Though I am genuinely proud of all we do here at Logic, I am never satisfied that we are doing enough. I think that the best way to promote students to endlessly seek excellence is for us as leaders to be doing the same thing. To this end you will find some previews below as to what to expect from us next year.
Teacher recruitment continues to be a source of challenge for us. We have had some staff turnover this year that has left some students in a more challenging situation. This is regrettable and our leaders are working hard to support students with this change. However, even in a challenging market, where staff are not meeting our expectations we will continue to act decisively. I am pleased to say that we have made a number of positive appointments for September and look forward to introducing you to these staff in due course.
