Keep on keeping on!
Over the past two weeks students in Year 13 have been sitting external BTEC examinations in Business, Travel & Tourism and IT. Students have come out of these exams feeling really positive, thanks in large part to the preparation that they have put in. We look forward to results coming out in March.
A massive thank you to Year 11 parents (and students) for attendance at last week’s parents evening. There was a real buzz around the room with conversations heavily focused around supporting students in the long run into summer exams. Do keep an eye out for our ‘Steps to success’ emails that go out each Monday.
I have put out a separate communication already this week around strike action and refer you to the full details of this on our website. Our intention is to open as normal, though we thank you in advance for your support should we need to make alternative arrangements at the last minute.
Finally, we wanted to make all parents aware of our anonymous reporting system SHARP. We pride ourselves in the strength of our relationships with our families, but if you feel unable to report concerns in person this system allows you to share a concern anonymously. It can be found on our website at the bottom of the home page in a yellow banner.
Here’s hoping for warmer weather!
