Year 13 Meet your Subject Teacher Evening – Thursday 12th January 2023

 

Firstly I would like to thank you for your support during this Autumn term in what has been a really positive start to the year for our Year 13 students. We look forward to discussing the progress of your child at our parent evening next month and how we can support them as they prepare for upcoming coursework deadlines and exams. 

 

Our Year 13 Subject Teacher Parents Evening will take place on Thursday 12th January from 4.15pm – 7.15pm. It is expected that all students and their parents attend this evening. 

 

Students will be invited to make an appointment with their subject teachers over the coming weeks. 

 

• Students should discuss with their parents which times you can both be available to take part in meetings.
• Appointment times will be for 5 minutes per student, per subject teacher. It is vital that students are on time as staff will have multiple appointments throughout the evening and will not be able to catch up with late arrivals. 

 

This will be an excellent opportunity to discuss your child’s progress and more importantly, look at how we are planning to support your child with their upcoming coursework deadlines and exams. This is of particular relevance for those students who will be undertaking BTEC Exams in January, as well as those studying for A Levels later this year. 

 

We really value these opportunities to talk with you as we know that working together makes a huge difference in supporting student progress.
