Emergency Closure

We are pleased to announce that our water supply has been restored and that we will be open as planned from 11:30am today with lessons starting at 11:50am. See you all later.

We are currently working towards a late start to school on Wednesday 7th December. Students are welcome on site from 11:30am with lessons starting as normal at 11:50.

There will be another update at 9am on Wednesday 7th December to reconfirm these arrangements.

Please note that the Year 12 Career Ready trip will go ahead as planned and students on this trip should arrive at normal time.

I write to inform you that we have had to take the decision to close the school as of 11:30 am on Tuesday 6th December. This is due to a water supply issue that is currently under investigation. 

The situation as it stands is that we have no access to running water; this means that the toilets are not functional and the canteen is not operational. As such it is not possible to remain open.

This is a fast moving situation and we are not yet aware of what happens next. As such we ask for your patience and understanding whilst we make firm arrangements. We hope to be able to provide a more concrete update later in the day; this will be managed through this webpage. 

If we are unable to open tomorrow, arrangements will be made to provide work for students via Google Classroom. This will most likely take the form of guided independent work as opposed to live lessons. Again, further details on these arrangements will be provided later should they be required.
