Year 11 Revision Bootcamp

Dear Parent/Carer,

RE: Logic School Year 11 Revision Bootcamp and Residential Trip

I am writing to inform you that we are planning to take all Year 11 students on a residential Revision Bootcamp in April this year. This will take place at the Adventure Camping Centre in Devon from Monday 4th April to Wednesday 6th April.

The aim of this trip is to allow all students the opportunity to work on key revision sessions with our staff, away from the school environment. We also want to give students the chance to undertake some fun activities which are likely to include a High / low ropes course, a Wipeout assault course, surfing and others tbc. After the difficult times in recent years, we want our students to have fun, while continuing to focus on their upcoming GCSE exams in May. 

The provisional plan is as follows (more precise details will be confirmed closer to the time):

Monday 4th April

  • Leave London at approximately 8am and travel by minibus to Devon. 
  • Afternoon of subject based revision plus activities.
  • Dinner plus evening activities.

Tuesday 5th April

  • Breakfast, lunch and dinner provided.
  • Programme of subject based revision plus activities.

 

Wednesday 6th April

  • Rooms emptied and bus packed.
  • Breakfast and lunch
  • Morning of revision plus activities.
  • Depart at approximately 2pm to arrive at Logic at 6.30pm.

The cost of the visit will be £200. However, we will FULLY COVER the cost for all students. The cost includes all travel, accommodation, activities, food and insurance.  We ask that you return the attached slip ASAP. 

We hope you agree that this will be a hugely beneficial and enjoyable visit for the students. Any student who does not attend will have alternative lessons provided for them at Logic on these days – but we really hope this is not the case and that all Y11 enjoy the trip and the opportunity.
