Year 12 Transition Week and Brighton Trip

We always say that our students at Logic are given the opportunity to work towards relevant and aspirational destinations and Transition Week for our Year 12’s showed an abundance of this. 

It was a week created to get our students thinking about life beyond Logic, with students taking part in sessions that helped educate them towards and act upon decisions about University, Degree Apprenticeships, Apprenticeships and Employment for their ‘Life after Logic’! 

We were grateful for the expert external sessions delivered by Royal Holloway University of London, The ASK program (supporting pupils into Apprenticeships), Teach First and Accenture, as these really gave students an insight into what opportunities they have Post 18. 

Sessions were also run by staff to help students develop their writing skills. Students were able to use this for their first steps towards applying for Universities via UCAS, as well as CVs and cover letters for Apprenticeships and Employment. 

And to end a fantastic and purposeful week, we were able to take everyone to Brighton for a fun day out, giving everyone the chance to celebrate the end of a ‘different’ but hard working school year!

So a great end to the year and we look forward to see our students in September to begin the final year of their Logic life.
