Water, water everywhere…

It may seem crazy to say after the downpour that we have experienced overnight, but we are struggling to find water. We have had issues with our water supply previously (December 2023) and are in a similar situation now. Essentially there is insufficient pressure to fill the water tanks on which the school relies. This has led to us having to make alternative arrangements during the day on Friday with students being advised to use the staff facilities both in Logic and at another venue on site.

Work is ongoing with the water company and a private contractor to address this issue. However, as of this moment I am unable to guarantee that we will be in a position to open as normal on Monday. Please check the school website for an update on this on Sunday evening. I hope to post this at 8pm. Should we have to make the decision to temporarily close the site we will enact our remote education plan to ensure that students have continued access to education.

Back to more normal news, a huge thank you to all Year 11 parents that were able to make last nights Subject Teacher event. I have heard from all staff about just how positive and valuable the experience was. We look forward to hosting Year 13 parents next Thursday.
