One week to go!

As always with Logic, there is a lot for us to be proud of and a lot to look forward to as we approach the half term break.

Last week we ran a joint trip with the Spanish department at Springwest to Barcelona. Students spent 4 days enjoying the tourist attractions of the city and experiencing the Spanish culture. They visited the Picasso Museum, Sagrada Familia and other Gaudi architecture around the city, as well as wandering around the market stalls on Las Ramblas and perusing the quaint little shops of the Barrio Gótico (Gothic Quarter). On Friday students visited Port Aventura, the largest theme park in Spain.

As you will read below, the experience that students have had over the past couple of weeks as well has what we have planned for our first Personal Development week are extensive. It is by providing these opportunities that students are able to build cultural capital and life experience. Aside from qualifications, it is ultimately this experience that make our students successful.

We talk to students about the importance of Looking Forward, Looking Outward and Taking Action. It is this final piece that makes the difference.

Have a great half term (when it comes), well earned rests are needed all round!
